Semimaru activates the effect of "Locust King", detaching an Overlay Unit to negate the effects of "Machu Mech" and increase its own DEF by 500 (3000 → 3500). Trey uses "Quick Reservation Reward" to reveal and Set "Heart of Stone". "Machu Mech" attacks "Locust King" (Trey 2000 → 1700). Once, while it is face-up, he can Xyz Summon an Xyz Monster with one less Overlay Unit than usually required, but if "Orichalcum Chain" is destroyed, control of the Summoned monster will be given to the opponent. Trey uses the effect now, overlaying Yuma's Level 6 "Giragira Knight" to Xyz Summon "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" (2600/3000) in Attack Position.
As it was Xyz Summoned, its effect activates, letting Trey choose a "Number" monster in the Graveyard and equip it to "Atlandis", increasing its ATK by that of the equipped "Number". He equips "Utopia" (2600 → 5100), while "Pyramid Eye Tablet" increases its ATK further (5100 → 5900). "Atlandis" attacks "Locust King", but Yuma activates his face-down "Overlay Brake", negating the attack and attaching that card to "Atlandis" as an Overlay Unit. As an attack was negated, Yuma activates his face-down "Double or Nothing!", allowing "Atlandis" to attack again and doubling its ATK (5900 → 11800). Then, the effect of "Quick Reservation Reward" activates, doubling the ATK of "Atlandis" (11800 → 23600) as it was targeted by a Quick-Play Spell Card. "Atlandis" attacks and destroys "Locust King" (Semimaru 5100 → 0).

Turn 4: Quinton Quinton draws "Micron Force" and attacks "Number 2: Shadow Mosquito Ninja" with "Number 9: Dyson Sphere". Mosquito Ninja activates the effect of "Shadow Mosquito Ninja", by detaching an Overlay Unit to prevent its destruction in battle and reduce the battle damage to 0. This also lets him place a "Hallucination Counter" on 1 face-up monster on the field. He places one on "Hallucination Counter" on "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" (3000/2500). Quinton Sets two cards.
Turn 5: Kite Kite declares the attack of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" on "Shadow Mosquito Ninja" and tries to use its effect, but cannot as the Hallucination Counter negates them. Mosquito Ninja activates the other effect of "Shadow Mosquito Ninja"; if it is targeted for an attack by a monster with a "Hallucination Counter", it prevents itself from destruction by battle and inflicts the battle damage to the opponent instead. Since this Duel is a Battle Royale, Mosquito Ninja selects Quinton as the target for the battle damage. Quinton activates his face-down "Micron Force", letting him target 1 face-up monster on the field and halve its original ATK. He selects "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" (3000 → 1500). Quinton receives the lowered battle damage (Quinton 2000 → 500). Kite Sets two cards.
Turn 6: Mosquito Ninja Mosquito Ninja Normal Summons "Army Mosquito Blood Commando" (300/0) and activates its effect. Since he controls a "Shadow Mosquito Ninja", he can Tribute "Blood Commando" to place 1 "Hallucination Counter" on 1 face-up monster his opponent controls. He selects "Dyson Sphere" as the target for this effect. He then activates "Mosquito School Ninjitsu Art of Mosquito Flame Emission", inflicting 600 damage to each player for each monster they control with a "Hallucination Counter". Quinton counters by activating his face-down "Elastic Space", inflicting the damage to the opponent instead and preventing him from taking damage for the remainder of the turn. Kite activates his face-down "Exchange Power", decreasing the ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes" by the damage that Mosquito Ninja inflicted while reducing the damage to 0(1500 → 300).
Turn 7: Quinton Quinton declares the attack of "Dyson Sphere" on "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon". Kite activates his face-down "Prevent Reborn", reducing the battle damage by 1000 and Special Summoning the destroyed monster (Kite 2000 → 500). "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" (3000/2500) is Special Summoned via the effect and since it was destroyed and then Special Summoned, the "Hallucination Counter" on it is removed from it. Quinton Sets two cards.
Turn 8: Kite Kite attacks "Shadow Mosquito Ninja" with "Galaxy-Eyes" and activates its effect, banishing both monsters until the end of the Battle Phase. Then, through its effect, "Galaxy-Eyes" increases its ATK by 500 for each Overlay Unit that "Shadow Mosquito Ninja had (3000 → 4000). Mosquito Ninja activates his face-down "Mosquito School Ninjitsu Art of Mosquito Repellent Flash", letting him banish "Army Mosquito monsters in his Graveyard to increase the ATK of "Shadow Mosquito Ninja" by 1000 for each. He banishes three "Army Mosquito Blood Force" and one "Blood Commando" ("Shadow Mosquito Ninja" (0 → 4000). Kite activates "Eternal Magic", which allows him to target 1 Continuous Spell Card in his opponent's Graveyard and gain its effect. He selects "Hologram Projection" in Quinton's Graveyard and uses its effect to target 1 monster on the field and Special Summon this card with the same name, Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF as that target. He targets "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" for the effect. Quinton activates his face-down "Power Analyze", which allows him to target 1 Machine-Type monster he control and until the End Phase its ATK becomes the same as the ATK of 1 face-up monster his opponent controls. He targets "Dyson Sphere" and changes its ATK to 4000 the same as "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon". He then activates his other face-down card "Paradox Synthesize", letting him Tribute one Level 5 or higher monster his opponent controls and one Xyz Monster he controls to increase the ATK of another monsters by their combined ATKs. He Tributes "Dyson Sphere" and "Hologram Projection" to target "Galaxy-Eyes" (4000 → 12000). Kite activates "Miracle Galaxy". As he took no battle damage during his Battle Phase, he may conduct a second one, though only one monster may attack. "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" attacks and destroys "Shadow Mosquito Ninja" (Mosquito Ninja 8000 → 0).

| Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 118"Deity of the Holy Azure Land - Eliphas the Radiant"The one hundredth and eighteenth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on August 25, 2013. Yuma is finally able to reach the Astral World only to be targeted by the will of the Astral World itself. However due Rainbow Kuriboh's guidance and help, he reaches to where Astral is. Thus then the duel to determine Astral's fate begins between Yuma and Eliphas. Featured Duel : Eliphas vs. Yuma Tsukumo Turn 1: Eliphas Eliphas activates two copies of "Mysterious Monolith", whose effects allow him to use them as Overlay Units for the Xyz Summon of a Rank 4 Xyz Monster. He overlays them to Xyz Summon "New Orders 4 Etheric Anubis" (1000/1000) in Attack Position. Eliphas Sets a card.
Turn 2: Yuma Yuma draws "Rainbow Kuriboh", and then Normal Summons "Ganbara Knight" (0/1800). As he Normal Summoned a Level 4 or lower monster, Yuma Special Summons "Kagetokage" (1100/1500) from his hand in Attack Position by its own effect. Yuma overlays his two Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia" (2500/2000) in Attack Position. He equips "Utopia" with "Reverse Breaker", whose effect allows him to destroy 1 Set Spell/Trap Card his opponent controls whenever the equipped monster declares an attack. "Utopia" attacks "Etheric Abubis", using "Reverse Breaker" to destroy Eliphas' Set card. Eliphas activates the effect of "Etheric Anubis" as a Spell/Trap Card he controls was destroyed. By detaching an Overlay Unit, he can Set that card from his Graveyard and if it is a Trap Card, he can activate it this turn. He activates it now, revealing it as "Mysterious Mirror", which will prevent the destruction of the battling monsters and inflict the battle damage only to Yuma. Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia", detaching an Overlay Unit to negate his own attack. Yuma Sets a card.
Turn 3: Eliphas Eliphas performs a Shining Draw. Duel continues in the next episode.

| Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL - Episode 119"Transcendental State! The Threatening Double Rank-Up!!"The one hundredth and ninteenth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on September 1, 2013. Yuma begins a Duel against the one who kept attacking him again and again, the will of the Astral World: Eliphas! The Astral World’s Duels aim to Rank-Up, and everything is capable of Shining Draw. Eliphas Summons one Rank-Up Monster after another, cornering Yuma! To save Astral who has been destined to die for meeting Yuma, Yuma wages a desperate battle, but can he escape from the brutal attacks of Eliphas's Rank-Up Monsters...!? Featured Duel : Eliphas vs. Yuma Tsukumo Duel continues from the previous episode. Turn 3: EliphasEliphas performs a Shining Draw. He then activates "Rank-Up Advantage" which allows him to draw 1 card whenever he Special Summons a Xyz Monster by the effect of a "Rank-Up-Magic" Spell Card. He then activates "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force", Double Ranking Up "New Orders 4 Etheric Anubis" and performing a Rank-Up Xyz Change to Special Summon "New Orders 6 Etheric Apophis" (2500/1500) in Attack Position. By the effect of "Rank-Up Advantage", Eliphas is allowed to draw one more card and he performs another Shining Draw. He then activates the effect of "Apophis", detaching an Overlay Unit to target "Number 39: Utopia" and decrease its ATK by 2000 (Utopia 2500/2000 → 500/2000). He then activates the other effect of "Rank-Up Advantage", which allows him to negate the effects of his opponent's monster that is targeted for an attack by an Xyz Monster Special Summoned by a "Rank-Up-Magic" Card. "Apophis" attacks "Utopia", but Yuma activates his face-down "Half Unbreak", halving the battle damage and preventing the destruction of "Utopia" by battle (Yuma 4000 → 3000). Eliphas Sets a card. Turn 4: YumaYuma draws "Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force" and activates it, Ranking Up "Utopia" and performing a Chaos Xyz Evolution to Special Summon "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory" (2800/2500) in Attack Position. Due to the effect of "Numeron Force", the effects of all cards on the field are negated, except for "Utopia Ray Victory". "Utopia Ray Victory" attacks "Apophis". Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia Ray Victory", detaching an Overlay Unit to add the ATK of "Apophis" to its own (2800 → 5300). "Apophis" is destroyed (Eliphas 4000 → 1200). Eliphas activates his face-down "Ascension Spiral", which allows him to banish 1 Xyz Monster from his Graveyard that was destroyed this turn and Special Summon from his Extra Deck 1 Xyz Monster that is 2 Ranks higher than the banished monster, while ignoring the Summoning conditions. Eliphas banishes "Apophis" to Special Summon "New Orders 8 Etheric Sebek" (3000/2000) from his Extra Deck in Attack Position. Turn 5: EliphasAs "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" is in his Graveyard, its effect allows Eliphas to add it to his hand during his Draw Phase instead of conducting his normal draw. He activates it, Double Ranking Up "Sebek" and performing a Rank-Up Xyz Change to Special Summon "New Orders 10 Etheric Horus" (3500/2500) in Attack Position and drawing a card via "Rank-Up Advantage". He performs a Shining Draw and draws another copy of "Astral Force". He immediately activates it, Double Ranking Up "Horus" and performing a Rank-Up Xyz Change to Special Summon "New Orders 12 Etheric Mahes" (4000/3000) in Attack Position and drawing card with Shining Draw via "Rank-Up Advantage". Eliphas activates the effect of "Mahes", which allows him to Special Summon all Xyz Materials attached to it on the field, which will return to being Xyz Materials at the End Phase and will be destroyed if "Mahes" is. This Special Summons "Sebek" (3000/2000) & "Horus" (3500/2500). He then activates "Rank Domination", which prevents monsters without Ranks from attacking and forces monsters to attack in numerical order of the Ranks. "Sebek" attacks "Utopia Ray Victory", but Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia Ray Victory", adding the ATK of "Sebek" to its own (2800 → 5800). "Rank Domination" also decreases the ATK of the monster with the lower Rank by the difference between the Ranks times 1000 when two monsters with Ranks battle until the end of the Damage Step, so the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory" decreases by 3000 (5800 → 2800). The attack continues, though "Utopia Ray Victory" is not destroyed by battle since "Sebek" is not a "Number" monster. "Horus" attacks "Utopia Ray Victory", with "Rank Domination" activating ("Victory" 5800 → 800, Yuma 2800 → 100), though "Utopia Ray Victory" is not destroyed by battle as "Horus" is not a "Number" monster. "Mahes" attacks "Utopia Ray Victory", with "Rank Domination" activating (5800 → 0). Duel continues in the next episode. |
