I will try my best to read this but i do have a question, card timings. I have always been confused by that matter, i dont understand when or why a card would miss timing. Ill start reading all the resources you mentionad and will contact you if i dont understand anything.

Optional if/when aren't really covered as much in the resources I've linked here; a future classroom article will be discussing those interactions in more detail, as well as why you shouldn't call it "missing the timing". Basically though, for an optional Trigger Effect that activates "when" something happens, the activation requirement has to be the last thing to happen in the gamestate, in order for that effect to be able to activate.
