(This is not a clear explaination of how the mechanic works, please wait for further details to explain it.) 1. There are two new Pendulum Zones on the field 2. There are new Pendulum Monsters with "Scales" to the left and right of the card (the red and blue things) You can place them in the Pendulum Zones, if you do they becomes Spells instead of monsters differnet pendulum monsters have different scale numbers 3. Once you have 1 pendulum monster in each p zone, you can perform a pendulum summon you take the numbers between the two scale numbers, in this case 1 and 8, so 2-7 4. In this turn you can now special summon any number of monsters from your hand 2-7 times with that level(?) and you can only do this one time, so you can't summon something now, draw some, and then summon some more later in the same turn also when pendulum monsters die you can play them face-up in your extra deck when you perform a pendulum summon you can summon 1 of them from your extra

Byakko no Shoukanshi (White Tiger Summoner) Level 3 EARTH Spellcaster-Type Effect Monster ATK 1000 DEF 1700 1: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can activate this effect. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Normal Monster from your hand. 2: While this card is in your Monster Card Zone, your monsters gain 100 ATK and DEF.
Masou Senshi Vandra Level 5 WIND Warrior-Type Effect Monster ATK 2000 DEF 800 1; This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Dragon-Type/Spellcaster-Type/Warrior-Type Normal Monster in your Graveyard; add that monster to your hand.
Masou Seiryuu Iiselweapon Level 6 LIGHT Dragon-Type Monster ATK 2300 DEF 1600 The effect of Masou Seiryuu Iiselweapon can only used once per turn. 1: When this card is Pendulum Summoned, you can target 1 card on the field. Return that card to its owner's hand
Tokiyomi no Majutsushi (Chronomancy Magician) Dark Spellcaster / Pendulum / Effect Blue Scale 8 / Red Scale 8 Level 3 DARK Spellcaster-Type Pendulum Effect Monster ATK 1200 DEF 600 Spell Effect: If you control no monsters you can activate this card. If your Pendulum Monster battles, your opponent cannot activate Trap Card until the end of the Damage Step. If you have a "Majutsushi" card or an "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone, this card's Pendulum Scale becomes 4. Monster Effect: While this card is in your Monster Card Zone, once per turn cards in your Pendulum Zone cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects.
Hoshiyomi no Majutsushi (Astromancy Magician) Dark Spellcaster / Pendulum / Effect Pendulum Scale 1 LV5 1200/2400 Spell Effect: If your Pendulum Monster battles, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards until the end of the damage step. If your other Pendulum Zone does not have a "Majutsushi" card or "Odd-Eyes" card, this card's Pendulum Scale becomes 4. Monster Effect: Once per turn, when 1 Pendulum Monster you control is returned to your hand by your opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 monster with the same Level from your hand.

| konami: oh look lets release the most broken cards and change the system...
if this is actually true.... i just hope we could play it either way.. pendulum or kaiba system(which wat we play now)
and its this new season called yugioh's Arc-V 's fault ._.
Percy and DN will have a hard time adjusting to this if this game would be the official choice and making the kaiba system obsolete.
in conclusion i think we SHOULD play it either way |

1- Player going first doesn't get to draw
I approve of this change 100%, It gives more value to going second and thus making the turn decision more crucial and less predictable (unless you ran uncommon decks you'd always go first), addition to the attack ability you get one card advantage over what your opponent started with But you're facing an already-concurred field with burden of dealing with whatever your opponent set up.
2- Two field spell cards can be on the field at the same time. odd change i am not clear on it's effect on the game yet. |
