| War rulesIf you need to ask about anything feel free to PM a War Organizer.If there's a conflict in a war, you can ask a War Organizer help too.Update for future war Organizers:ELO Scores will be calculated using http://www.kosteniuk.com/EloCalc/elo.php It is a simple system that you may use to just input the values. Each individual and each team starts with an ELO score of 1000 and a k-factor of 25. The k-factor changes as they meet the requirements to do so, as stated in the key.For matches, record each individual game, and give the player a score of 1 for win and 0 for lose. If you have more duels to record than there are slots for opponent entries, simply do as much as you can, then reset, enter the new ELO score, and continue the list. Do this for each individual in the war. Since most wars will have only 6 participants, it will not be too hard or take too long. Best of luck to whomever fills this role.1- A war can only be made by 2 teams in which they will face each other 2- A war can be done with special stipulations (TCG ban list, OCG ban list, meta, non-meta, etc): · Classic Format This Format will be done with Konami's most recent Ban List, will consist of a 3-5 person Team for 6-10 Hearts. Each Heart will consist of one match between one Member of each of the two opposing Teams. It can be done with eliminations/no eliminations or a maximum number of matches played per person, everything up to what both Teams agree. The Team that takes away all the hearts from the other Team is the winner. All winning replays or screenshots will be posted for each match to be awarded. If you post only screenshots, the Player that lost should confirm his loss. · Advanced Format Both teams will duel each other for double elimination standard war. If the War hasn't progressed in 3 days at all then the most inactive Team will lose 1 Heart (for Classic format) or 1 Half-Heart (for Advanced format), then the timer will reset. If at any time, a total of 15 days (360 hours) of inactivity has occurred, the War will be nullified, and neither Team will recieve points. Subs
Subs will be accepted at any time, must be posted in the War thread and accepted by the opposing Team before they may enter. Disputes
In the event of a disconnect during a War match, ensure that all replays are saved. In the event a replay can't be saved, attempt to take a screenshot of the field. If a Winner could not be decided after the disconnection, Players can replay that duel. Simply setup a new match, surrender appropriately (so you can side), and continue dueling from the game that was left off. If there are any disputes on the outcome of a duel, a War Organizer will review any replays, screenshots, or accounts of the match and will come to a decision on how to proceed. The War Organizer decision is final and will be accepted by both teams. Rewards in Wars
Reward for Winning Team50 DPEach Player will get 10 DP per match win during each War. If a Player has not warred then he/she will not receive any Game Stars. Rewards for Losing Team 0 DPIn addition, each Player will get 10 DP per match win. Players on the roster that don't participate will receive no points. |
