| Those of you who know this deck well from it's fishborg blaster days, prepare yourself! The deck has evolved, to make better use of it's resources, and hit the wins more efficiently than it's predecessor! So, basically, the idea for this deck is to summon coelacanth as soon as possible, use him to summon 4 of the level 4 fish from your main deck, and overlay for bahamut shark and abyss dweller, then summon mermail abysstrite with bahamut shark. Ideally. That's a turn 1 scenario, a turn 2 scenario is the same except you just attack for game instead of summoning abysstrite. For grind games, the following combinations are to be considered. Abyssmander can help you get to your dyson sphere, tachyon dragon, volcasaurus, or photon strike bounzer. In absence of this, you're in a better position against the opponent, should they use stygian dirge on you. Abysspike allows you to deck thin, and summon your level 7 mermail (or another lv 4 for a quick xyz) all at once. Abyssturge allows you to pitch your abyssgunde to get her back and still get a lv 4 or 7 mermail, as it suits your needs. Tidal or stream can be used to set off abyssgunde's ability as well. If you pitch tidal and gunde to send a monster from deck to grave, you can pick the mermail you want to summon. You really should have no problem making coelacanth work out if you draw him. As this is a turbo build, no thought was given to defense, just pre-emptive offense (I.E. Tachyon Dragon), so keep in mind that this build is just mark 1 of what will in time be a stronger, more consistent engine. Your thoughts? Perhaps suggestions as to good tech to add? |
