Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon gives Odd-Eyes archetype something to look forward to bringing out and making it easy to summon in the archetype.This card gives Odd-Eyes Magician decks a great double effect card with the ability to return powerful special summon monsters back and gives you a great negation card which is much easier to summon than other cost negation monsters.

NOTE: I'm not trying to convince you that Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon is either a bad or a good card, I'm simply putting it under a discussion. It is up to you to make that assumption for yourself

Pros:
1- Gives Magician Archetype something to summon out and make it harder on the opponent whatever it's to return a powerful monster that was special summoned.
2-Effects are same as Black Moon Dragon and Shooting Quasar Dragon rolled into one.
3-You can either summon this card by either Dragon's Mirror or Odd-Eyes Fusion which is searchable card by Magician Arch.
4-Xyz target to use for any rank 7.

Cons:
1- Decent attack which is same attack as Odd-Eyes Dragon which even Gem-Knight Pearl can over.
2-It's effect is not only once per turn but you have to supply your extra deck with pendulum monsters or you might lose your dragon.

It is once per turn Razz

Anyway, I think it's a great card and even maybe too powerfull. With the right pendulum/odd-eyes based deck you could build great control fields.
2500 ATK isn't much, but 3000 DEF is Wink

The negation effect is nice and dandy, and certainly a huge plus, but honestly I think his bounce effect is just as dangerous as the negation. Mostly because this dragon is so easy to summon and because it triggers off of Special Summon and not just Fusion Summon. It also doesn't need to be initially fusion summoned so you can get him off of Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon which is a plus if Absolute would be destroyed. And even if you don't play Absolute dragon, with Odd-Eyes Fusion this card is so very easy to summon.

My verdict, in Odd-Eyes.dek this card is great.
