| in the next OCG pack : Crossover Souls, theres a new nekroz support called "Necloth of Sophia" CROS-JP038. Who doesnt know sophia, the op cards with hard summoning requirement that makes many players didnt used it. but soon, you dont need to banish 1 face-up Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Monster from anywhere on the field to summon Sophia and use its effect. I introduce you the Nekroz of Sophia. The fearsome dark fairy sophia become the cute light spellcaster sophia with same ATK and DEF points and almost the same effects. lets see what her effects does. To summon sophia, you only need 1 nekroz ritual spell and 3 monsters you control with different type, still sounds hard to summon? well, its not that hard. This is the tricky part, it has almost same effect as original sophia, but to activate it you must not summon or set another monsters at the same turn you use sophia's effect. also while the original sophia's effect cannot be chained, this cute sophia's effect can be chained. this makes the cute sophia less power than the original sophia. Not just that, she has another effect. during either players MP1, you can discard her and 1 Nekroz Spell to the graveyard to make opponent cant Special Summon from Extra Deck. very powerful hand trap against many decks including the brokeness Qliphoth, and super spam Burning Abyss. (Note that pendulum summoning from Extra Deck is same as Special Summon from Extra Deck). now, lets see the comparison of the original Sophia with the Necloth Sophia. Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth
| Nekroz of Sophia
| | | Fairy/Effect | Fairy/Ritual | | | ATK 3600/DEF 3400 | ATK 3600/DEF 3400 | Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card's Special Summon cannot be negated. When this card is Special Summoned: Banish all other cards from both players' hands, fields, and Graveyards. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. | You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned from your hand by using 3 monsters you control with different Types, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. During either player's Main Phase 1: You can discard both this card and 1 "Nekroz" Spell Card; during this phase, your opponent cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck. When this card is Ritual Summoned: You can banish all other cards on the field and in the Graveyards. You cannot Normal/Set or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this effect. |
Lets see how Nekroz Players will play it when its available to play. Sorry if my english is bad, i hope you enjoy my article. |

| i would run atleast 2 of this, sealing opponent from special summoning from extra deck is good, also its not that hard to summon, but to use the banish eff, it would be a little problem. discard it to seal opponent, then ritual summon from grave if theres a chance. |
