Hello all,

In this thread I'm gonna try delivering the idea of activity and how it's helping us as a community to grow bigger and become better. Each individual of us is a part of this place and always will be as long as RDA stands and each one can have a part in building it and turning it into a solid consistently active community.

What is a site activity?

In general the activity of a site is the count of users logged in, users registered and threads/posts per day.

On Forumotion, the threads count is the most important thing of the ranking of YGO academies, as a community I seek RDA to be one of the top in the ranking (you can check it HERE), So in here I'll explain few things that you as a member or a staff can help with to get us to a consistent activity and a site that always have new things.

1: Arenas.
The arenas are supposed to be the most active sections (despite the fact they're not currently). For those who want to go competitive they can use the Battle Tower (BT) which is a ranked arena with records, rating, DPs and skill points rewards.

But we also have players who would like to play with fun without having any records showing their wins/loses and that's completely understandable and acceptable, therefore RDA created the Unlimited Arena (UA) that doesn't have a record and can still be posted on RDA to gain DPs and skill points.

By doing that, you'll be giving RDA threads and what I like to call "Food" since RDA is always hungry for activity.

2: Dice Games.
Dice games are a known thing to most, not many plays it but still an active section, by playing the dice not only you'll be winning DPs and other things, but you'll be helping RDA with posts food. So start playing dice games and enjoy the chances of winning.

3: Other Sections.
Take a look at RDA's sections, we have many of them and each one can contain variant of things and possibilities of what you can post it, YGO related or not (in the off topic section).
You can post threads in these sections, perhaps an article of YGO that you liked and want to share, a card that you saw and wanted to discuss.. a replay of a duel you had and want to show. All that can be done on RDA and you'll be helping it with activity.You can also posts about video games, manga/anime and basically anything you feel like posting and talking about.

4: Inviting New Members.
I personally hate the term "Recruiting" due to many reasons that I won't go through now, but what you can do is inviting friends you know online/irl to join RDA and take a part in. You can also promote and recommend RDA to players you meet on servers and such.

Help RDA, so it can help you back with entertainment that never ends.

more than anything else, it's important for us to banter in the main chat, because that leads to ideas, and those ideas become thread posts. If forum dueling is to survive, we all have to put in a little effort on a consistent basis to feeding RDA. Think of it as your cat, and feed it til it's full at least once per day. 5 small meals a day is better for it's health. Just like a pet cat.

This place is helping you by giving fun and entertainment, which is the main goal from RDA's existence.
If you're not entertained... then I don't know what you're doing here.

During my duels, I have invited some peoples to join the academy, but sadly, I didn't get their answer.

I will continue to recruit peoples as possible.
