well since the seal is a no go lets try deck masters if its not been done u choose a monster from the deck master list and put it in the banish zone (i dont think regular monsters can use the pendulum zone) and the monster has a special ability as the dm ex: strike ninja dm eff once per game u can discard 2 cards and activate a face down card ur opponent controls as if it was ur own 

Note: 
If the deck master u choose is still in the deck when the duel starts u may search for the deck master and put him in the banish zone/dm zone

rules: 

and for this to work extra deck monsters have summoning sickness unless card eff says different

lp is the same 8000

deck masters can only be destroyed by battle no solem or bouncing to the players hand

deck masters are summoned when the players lp drops below the selected dm atk 

deck masters cannot be put back in the DM zone (unless eff says otherwise IE Shinto king of a higher plane)

once ur deck master is destroyed u loose regardless of lp

How can this even be done online and who would determine these dm effects? Seems unnecessarily complicated and not even possible to begin with.

Stick to something simple like a 60card.dek tourney or a monotype tourney.

This would only work on dn, I've seen it done before on Dn forums, it sounds interesting and fun. The idea is that you have a master monster that you can summon any time during the duel and it may have special effects. A lot of variation can be done around the idea like if your master monster dies you lose and such.

First of I'd like to thank you for sharing your ideas and as for this idea I think overall it could be fun, even tho DN people here are very few... anyway, if there's a list of those Deck Master monsters with their effects please share it and after that we decide if we can host such an event or not.

Deck master's effect must not be made with just one person, must be made with poll, that will be balanced. if theres existing eff, we could use that if its the same effect as the ygo anime ones.

and this also work on ygopro, with custom cards obviously. this is similliar to Millenium Battle.
I personally have some idea that works almost same with this 2 events but different system.
