- The Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG will have a new update in deck construction.
- This will be released alongside the new banlist in the V-Jump.
- Everything is speculation at this time, but this will be edited with each released piece of information.
- Anything and everything can and likely will be affected by this. Since it coincides with the banlist, rather than just being released at another time, there may be other additional limitations to the banlist format itself.
What are the most likely outcomes?
- An increase in Side Deck/Extra Deck. This seems most likely.
- Banning of certain card combinations.
- A change in the default number of allowed cards in a deck. (30, 50, 60 as minimum)
- A scary change, changing the maximum number of each card you can use.
- A change in how the banlist works in correlation with the deck. (There was recently a tournament in the OCG in which people could use 1 Forbidden card)
- A limit to how many cards on the list you can use at any time.
The V-Jump usually leaks between August 10-15th. This banlist season is looking to be a very important one. Please keep an eye out, and don't give credit to the fakes. The official V-Jump comes out the 21st of this month.

You can join this by following the Banlist that’s going to be revealed for the third time this year! 2013 November, 2014 February, 2014 April, 2014 July are the dates for the upcoming Banlist changes!
It’ll be four times a year, with the next one coming up in November!Only thing that matters. This is huge. The rest is just regarding duels in the OCG allowing stores to have custom banlists, and for there to be now 5 age groups. |
