| Hey i'm not much of a side decker so i'm a bit lost in what to side (don't usually play matches but can see the relevance of having one) so i was wondering whether you guys could be me some pointers (plus anything on the actual cards in my deck is also nice). |

| Let me explain this to you Alien.
Side decks in overall review are game changers. Most competitive tournaments online and in real life are in match mode so in a way that's to your advantage. Side deck has that ability to take what proved to be a disadvantage and turn it into your advantage. For example say you were playing inzektors vs edrags. Now as we all know inzektors are at a disadvantage because of how fast edrags are and how there speed compares to what inzektors can do. In your side deck for example you could switch out cards from your deck that if drawn and played can turn the tide of a duel. That is in the standpoint of who has the advantage.
Side deks should be designed to counter big name decks and strategies that counter your own deck. Also then again not picking cards that can hurt your deck in the process. Like some generic and always helpful side cards are veiler and maxx c. Those cards turn tides and win duels. If there in the side deck or main makes no difference you can never go wrong by having them in your side. Everything from then is fair game in the cards you pick and choose. |

| the best way to build a side-deck is through experimentation, go online and duel different kind of decks, and note which ones gave you the hardest time, those would be your worst match ups. After that build a side deck that counter those cards.

| As for Nordics, you need to understand they can't really be competitive, I can see you're running a fun build, not even sure if it's effective enough. But, since you're asking for a side deck I can help you in few basics things any side deck can run
2 Maxx "C" 2 Effect Veiler 2 Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror/2 Light-Imprisoning Mirror 2-3 Xyz Encore (Ophion shots you down so hard, you'll need to face it) 1 Soul Drain 2 Trap Stun (Nordics so sensitive toward traps) 2 Stygian (stops many decks and simply block them) 2 Vanity's Emptiness and many other options you could run such as -Debunk (facing fire kings and bujins, even rulers [since you can't really side iron wall]) -Iron wall (it'll block the reviving effect of your Nordics and make things less effective so I wouldn't run it)
I hope that helps you a bit, gl with stuff. |
