TOURNAMENT PROLOGUE! COME ABOARD ONE AND ALL!

Multi-Verse: The Ship Sets Sail SilverWhisper_zps48995fd6

Long ago, pride wasn't something so easily misplaced, as it is today. Rather, it was something well earned, something one had to fight for. War were waged over many things, and pride was one of them. Indeed, warriors, knights, shinobi and other such fierce fighters trained hard day in and day out. All in search of that one goal. To become ever stronger, ever more vigilant, and ever closer to obtaining whatever goal they each held most dear. This was a time of heroes. Villains. Legends.

Alas, their ways have left our time, replaced by some hierarchy of do's and do not's. The human element has lost it's envy. Lost it's pride. We are in general complacent to sit before a television screen, and be told what to do by some prerecorded man of pixels. However, some say in but a whisper that legends still walk among us. Hidden in the shadows, unaccepted by society today; a society that refuses to give them their well deserved respect. It's because today, to be different or unique, is to be shunned. But legends do not choose to be, they simple. Are.

Somewhere, near the coast line of every major continent, they say there's a ship. It's pristine white gloss is rivaled by none and it's said to cut through the wind like a hot knife through butter. It's name is the Silver Whisper; a ship like no other. The Captain is a man of honor, dignity and pride like no other is said to be the best on the 7 seas and only the finest of chef's prepare the food each and every day. Indeed, it travels the world, as if searching for someone. As a luxury this nice belongs to some group of people. The legends themselves, and apparently; or so I've been told, one day you might just receive an invitation to come aboard. But that's only if your lucky.

Today she finds herself soaring across the open seas, hitting this coast and that. America, Africa, Japan, Europe and China collecting what's left of the top warriors in the world. Didn't get an Invitation? Well then, don't worry then and run along. The security is top notch and breaking on board would be a horrid idea. For those lucky enough to have gotten that special letter in the mail. You know what to do. What to bring. And when to arrive. Best hurry though, she'll be stopping in your harbor soon. Wink

Somewhere near Asia lies a county few have ever seen. It's shrouded in mystery, and defended by an elite group of warriors known as "Shinobi." Divided into "Lands," whom border one another and reign over sections of the land mass by military strength and compromise alone. Outsider whom dare venture here should count themselves lucky, or foolish. For you are either welcomed, perhaps due to your money, or power. Or you never make it out alive. Rogue ninja plague the lands, offering the semi warring countries to pick them off, for bounty cash or as jobs for their own or other countries. It is here we find one of the presumed greatest warriors alive today. A young man by the name of Sasuke Uchiha.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Some time ago, not more than a few weeks, Sasuke had been greeted by a carrier pigeon. Now, of course I this harsh land it could have been anything from a trap, to a job request, it had put the boy on edge somewhat. However, he greeted the bird none the less. It handed him a letter, and promptly flew away. It reads as follows;

The Letter:

A smirk grin spread across the young boys face, and his eyes began to glow red, in contrast to their usual coal color. The paper suddenly igniting with an ominous black flame. It seemed to not hurt the boy, but rather bend to his very will. The letter destroyed, and the information on memory. Sasuke had had a rough time lately. Life had not been kind to him, or his family. He'd abandoned his home, fought ferociously against his former comrades, and then come to realize he'd been lead astray by his own emotions.

Today he resided in Konoha once again, a village that had every right to take his head, but had instead welcomed him back in. It was an honor, a humbling one to say the least. In all honesty Sasuke felt bad for leaving them behind. But his mind was made up. He would indeed participate in this "Game."

He rested well, ate well, and trained a little bit the following weeks. But when the morning came he was to meet the ship just after sunrise, so he took off in the dead of night, leaving no trace, and telling no one. He only looked back once, and whispered some silent praise to the home he was thankful for. He would prove to them all, these unknown strangers as well as his comrades back home, that he was the strongest fighter in the world.

Momotaros sitting in the Den Liner enjoying his Momo Coffee that Naomi make for him like always. He then decides to stop by the Milk Dipper to say hi to Ryotaro. Once time lined up he got of the Den Liner & opened the door so he could be transported on the inside of the Milk Dipper. As he walked through the door & looked at the scenery he realized he was on the outside of the Milk Dipper. Before he could turn around & open the door into the Milk Dipper he was stopped by someone who looked like the older Sakurai. Before Momotaros could say anything the strange person handed him an envelope & said,"Head to the docks, a ship named Silver Whisper will be there. Show them this invitation & get ready to fight." As soon as Momotaros heard fight he took off running at top speed. He thought to himself,"I haven't fought in years. No imagin have showed up & I haven't been able to leave the Den Liner because of Hana. I'm not passing this opportunity up. Get ready to lose jerks!" Momotaros gets to the docks as the ship is getting ready to pull out of the harbor. He runs & jumps onto the side of the boat, barley catching the open window. He walks out of the room & heads to the main deck to wait for the tournament to start.

Prince Zuko sat in in the tea shop at the docks with his uncle anticipating for the day he'd make it to the fire nation as their beloved prince and restore his honor, but this time he had another goal, which is to please this so called role player and do his bedding for quite an ambiguous reason......yeah~
Anyways he looked at the horizon as he glance the silver whisper coming towards the docks "goodbye uncle" he said as he stood by the docks waiting for its arrival...
his uncle said "its still over there"
zuko said "i know..."
uncle replied "are you just gonna stand there till it comes"
"yeah the role player is stupid"said zuko "he is probably doing this for the first time".
the ship has finally arrived after a long stand in the hot sun while catching so many skin diseases, he went aboard the ship and looked at both first arrivals straight to the souls and sat down waiting for the next person to show...

Somewhere in the middle of the desert, beneath the scolding hot sun. A shadow was slowly appearing under the sandstorms. As the storm calms the shadow become more apparent, covered in a long white scarf with a dark blue T-shirt and white shorts. Killua walked the desert after he parted from his friends and started a journey to discover his self and find a purpose to fulfill.

As he walked, in the middle of deep thoughts a faint sound stopped him in his tracks. The sound grew louder and louder, and the direction it's coming from became clearer and clearer. Just as soon as Killua figured out the direction the sound was coming from, he made a fast jump backwards barely dodging a huge object hitting the spot he was in leaving a huge hole in the ground and a cloud of sand in the area.

In the middle of the huge hole was a medium sized wooden chess with a ship-shaped silver lock locking it. Killua was filled with excitement and curiosity, excitement over the the fact the chess had to be thrown by a very strong person for it to be travelling at such a high speed and leaving this huge hole in the ground. Curious about the chest; that could withstand such an impact without a single scratch on it, and curious over what could be inside it. After Killua made sure the area was clear he jumped to where the chest is at.

Killua tried everything to open the chest, he punched and kicked, searched and analyzed for a switch, button or any trick sort to open the thing. But it was of no use, the chest was very sturdy as if it was protected by a mysterious force And very simply designed, Just a wooden chest and a silver lock shaped like a ship with a keyhole perfectly fitted in the middle replacing an anchor in the ship.

After some time passed, Killua figured it out.
The chess was protected using a strong Nen, which is an ability only few possess. Killua being one of the few engulfed his hands with Nen and placed them gently on the chest. And with a *trug* the chest was unlocked and Killua opened the chest. There he found nothing but an envelop; with a card and a letter inside.
The letter said:
Hidden far away, where few can see.
A ship travelling the sea.
In a place out of sight.
You'll need the card to make it alright.

Killua picked the card which was entirely black in both sides. Killua used his Nen again, and words appeared in the card:
Invitation:
You have been invited as a participant to fight other fighters from around the world. If you accept hold the card in between your hand and say the following "Silver whisper".

Killua with an exciting look and burning eyes did what the card instructed, when all of sudden a force made him fly all the way to silver whisper. where he noticed three fighters were already there.

Here we find the ship in Asia. Bordering the Land of Wind, that is completely covered by a barren desert, but it has come here for a purpose. To attract the strongest warrior known to man, Gaara no Sabaku.
Gaara had been sitting at his desk taking care of the much needed paperwork for their still prospering village, until a messenger hawk arrived at his desk. Attached to its leg was a letter.
See letter

After reading the letter, Gaara knew that this battle royale would be unfitting for someone like him, as he had his duties as Kazekage. Then, as he was about to toss the letter out, he felt a familiar chakra signature far away, the signature of Sasuke Uchiha. He instantly got up and left a letter for his absence. Silently making a sand platform to carry him, as he jumped out his window. He thought to himself, ‘This is my chance to test myself. I cannot pass this chance up.’ He looked back with regret, but he knew he must do this to get stronger, and protect the village he so dearly loves. And so began the path of Gaara no Sabaku. He reached the ship, just as it was taking off and flew on to it.

As Sakuya walked through the halls of the Scarlet Devil mansion, she went over all the work she had done and what she had left, 'So far i've done the dishes, made Remilia ojou-sama tea, did the laundry, cleaned most of the mansion, made Flandere ojou-sama lunch, made sure Meiling wasn't slacking off again, did the cooking for the rest of the day, and i still have half the day to finish up the rest of the work'. Suddenly, Remilia's voice echoed through the halls," Sakuyaaaaaaaa, ", stopping time, Sakuya quickly ran to her mistress, wondering if ojou-sama had already run out of tea, who was siting at the same table she had been earlier that day, parasol in hand. "what is it ojou-sama" Sakuya inquired, not noticing the small letter Remilia held in her other hand. "I got this letter, wanna see?"

Leetar ^_^:

"So milady, are you going to go?" Sakuya questioned. "I don't really wanna go, so I was wondering whether you wanted to" Remilia replied. Sakuya was rather interested, both in the event and how the letter had actually gotten to Gensokyo, but was very reluctant to participate in the event because she was worried as to whether or not her mistress could actually take care of herself in her absence. After voicing her thoughts, Remilia pouted out that she wasn't a little kid, ignoring the outward appearance she had, and that she'd be able to do things herself, and that the other maids could pick up the work in Sakuya's stead. After a bit of convincing, Sakuya finally caved in and accepted.

And so, with pocketwatch, knives, and luggage in hand, Sakuya departed with Yukari through a very familiar rift into the world of reality, and to the new "event" and it's mystery host. Sighing, Sakuya hoped she could at least learn some new cooking or something from her time on the ship.

Somewhere, in Underworld, there are rumors that said there's a ship.

Hearing that, Rufus quickly come to Earth by using gates of underworld, opened the way to earth. In the middle of road to earth, a tour guide from the underworld passing by and throw a letters to him and then the tour guide say "You young one, that letter will change your life, you better read it." then the tour guide leave.

Rufus catch the letter and read the contents
letter:
After reading the letter, he draw his guns and transform it into a jetwing, then boost to earth, to the ship.

In less than a hour, he came to earth, right before the ship, and he landed at the ship, then the security comes surrounding him. One of the security ask "Who are you and wheres your pass?"
Rufus transform back the jetwing into dual guns and put it out, then he answer, "I'm a Bounty Hunter, a Tour Guide gives me a letter (he show the letter) and the letter said to come to this ship, is there wrong with that?"
The Security check the letter and finds the special mark of the owner on the letter and confirm it, "okay, you're invited to this ship, and sorry for bothering" the security leaves.

Then Rufus stand in the side of the ship, seeing the sea and wait for announcement.

He'd been one of the first on the ship to arrive. Rather pleasant, as it allowed him to take his time, get to know the environment, as well as the people who came aboard one by one. There where a hand full of them so far, a man wearing a Demon Mask, and another with a horrible scar on one side of his face. There was a slave girl, and a marksman, and even the Kazekage Gaara of the Sand himself.

He sat at a table on the bow of the ship, and as the ship began to fill with passengers Sasuke's eyes again transformed from the usual black to an eerie red color. His sharingan studied them all, taking in this and that. Their movements, the subtle gestures their body gave away without the brain even realizing it. Their auras too of course. They all seemed worthy to fight along side him, none of them without a fierce energy emanating from within.

One by one he stared them down. Who knew maybe he'd intimidate one of them, or maybe he'd pick a fight, and be able to eliminate some of the competition here and now before the official matches even begun. Either way, it was a wining situation for Sasuke.

Even as Sakuya arrived on the ship, she could feel herself being watched. Stopping time for just a few moments, she scanned her eyes over all of the boat, and found the source being a male around her age, with eye's a shade of red similar to the scarlet clothing Remilia ojou-sama always wore. Noting the smirk playing on his face and realizing how little he thought of her, she met his stare with one that, though he would never know it, was just as heated as his was. Resuming time, she decided that this would be a interesting competition, especially if all of them underestimated her just for being a maid.

Though if she was going to be fighting, she'd have to change into clothes that were a bit more accomodating for fighting and moving quickly, so after heading into a secluded room, she changed her clothes to this.

After depositing all her things in her room, she decided it would be time to pay a visit to the strange youth who was watching her and all the other participants boarding.

Itchigo went to the soul society because he was called there for them recieving aletter in his name and they sensed that it held an evil aura, once he got there he went to the head captain or as itchigo called him "gramps".

Gramps gave itchigo the letter and after he read it gramps looked at him seriously as if the captain posed a bigger threat to the world than Aizen did with the hogyoku.

"Damn it...I cant ever get a break."

Itchigo called his dad and sisters telling them that he had to leave again and this time he may not come back but before he could they made him promise he would would caused silent tears to come down his face as he hung up the phone walking out heading to the boat confident that he will protect his family even if it means losing his soul reaper powers.

Gaara walked around, fully aware of the Uchiha's sharingan glancing at him ever once in a while, followed by a smirk on his face. However, he was not bothered in the slightest about it. He knew the Uchiha was no match for his sand, and his shield could stop any of lightning attacks and if needed take the sword away from the arrogant emo. However, the others were different, as he had never seen them fight before. One person even committed suicide earlier that day, for whatever reason. Also, scar face, was able to shoot fire out of his fingers without the need for chakra, a truly formidable feat indeed. The maid was also a mystery, but carried a unique presence around her. The others he couldn't gauge. Now, after this stressful day, he just wanted a long needed rest.

One by one more and more were arriving on the grand ship. It stopped here and there around the world flying across the seas at unthinkable speed. To prevent severe damage, or loss of passengers during these hyper speed sea travels, the good ship had clear plastic shields that came up to seal off the deck, which came down during smoother, more casual sailing.

It really was a beautiful sight. Sasuke had little experience with the sea, and had recently begun to take a greater appreciation of things. He missed the leaf, and regretted all the pain he'd caused Team 7 and the other villagers recently, but a new threat was still out there, one he'd deal with when he returned.

For now, he let the sun bake his face, and the salty air take over his senses. It filled his nose, and stuck in his jet back hair. During this moment of appreciation, it would seem the female dressed as a made had approached him. He barely moved, his body frozen like stone, except for the red orbs that were his eyes. They darted to the girl with unreal speed and precision. Examining her, taking in every detail and peering into her very soul.

"Can I help you?" Sasuke asked sarcastically, his arms crossed and his body relaxed in the chair. "I don't want any tea, or any favor if that's what your guna ask. Girls annoy me, and your all the same. Drooling over a man you've never even taken the time to know." e stared at her. Ice cold. The finally broke, his head hanging a bit and a sigh leaving his lips. "Look. I'm sorry ok, it's just. I'm not particularly good at this whole meet and great routine. I don't mean to be rude I'm just..." His sentence trailed off, and he again stared out into the vastness of the sea. "I'm just not so great with others, and I don't really know how to handle conversation, unless I want something from you... So... Hi, I guess."

The young man didn't mean to be so cold, so off putting. It's just a force of habit these days. He'd spent a great deal of his life on a wild goose chase. Chasing a dream that turned out to be a lie. That, as well as other factors in his life had made him a bit hard to deal with, he only hoped she could come to understand that. As most, did not.

When Sakuya had approached the young man, she was mainly expecting him to completely ignore her, or say something rude and walk away, but she certainly wasn't expecting him to act so... awkwardly after his rude blurb. After she got over her initial confusion as to why he was acting the way he was, she realized that he wasn't that different from her, because he was an outcast just like her. Though she wondered, when his world came crashing down around him, was anyone there to pick up the pieces? Or was he left alone, left to himself and the mercy of the world. Even more intrigued by the male now, she decided it'd be best to get to know him, because even if she was going to be fighting, it'd be best to have at least have some allies.

Though if she were to become allies with the youth, she'd have to establish that she was just as powerful, if not more powerful, as he was, so she took out a knife she had hidden in one of her cuffs, and stabbed it so deeply into the table only the grip was showing and creating cracks in the table. And so Sakuya sat down at the table across from the man, a small smile on her face and introduced herself, "My name is Sakuya Izayoi, and you and I aren't so different"

Sasuke's eyes followed the girl lazily. Her confident stride held within itself a need for attention. A desire to be seen. Her words, though graceful seemed practiced. He took in the more subtle gestures as well. Her gaze looked not at him, but beyond him for a moment. As if trying to see what he'd come from, rather than where he was. It was also to be noted her pulse was pounding, meaning she was either nervous or excited.

She quickly slammed a blade through the table, to which the young shinobi simply raised a brow. She sat, and came to the conclusion that she and himself where not so different after all. At this accusation, his interested peaked again, and his blood began to boil a bit under his skin.

"What do you know..." His words were cold, spiteful. "Obviously you care, you think you can relate. You think I hold some kind of power, or else you wouldn't be here. Trying to prove yourself, or trying to get to know me." He quickly stood up, now gazing down at the woman with coal colored eyes, his sharingan faded, as he thought it pointless to use any longer.

"Listen closely. I'm not your friend, and I'm not interested in you. I don't think your strong and I don't care about your pathetic life. I don't want to hear about the pain you've been through and I don't want to tell you about mine. The moment you decided I was some ... subject to be studied. Was the moment you proved we are nothing alike. There's a simple difference. You care what others think about you, and your opinion of them as well. Your walk alone tells me that. I don't, now leave me alone."

With that, Sasuke turned and walked towards the bow of the ship, leaning over a bit and resting crossed arms on the side of the boat. They were cruising now, and the wind felt nice in his hair.

Suddenly, the monitor system aboard the ship let out a loud "DING!" noise.

"Attention passengers of the Silver Whisper! We currently have aboard all participants in this years games! We will be arriving at an undisclosed location soon, where you will be prompted to get off, and prepare for a series of upcoming events. Please take this time to gather your thoughts, and things, and prepare for the trials that lye ahead. We thank you for your participation, and wish you all the best of luck."

Sasuke Smiled, and whispered to himself "Hmph, so it begins..."

Rufus saw a man jumps off the ship then dies, and then find an empty place at the near end of the ship, and sit at there, draws his guns and charging the guns energy and his energy too.

Sakuya was grinning. After an encounter such as the one she had just had, many a person would be infuriated or annoyed or in the very least resent the young man she had just been in (for lack of a better word) a conversation with. However, Sakuya was not angry in the slightest, because it had been an extremely long time since she had actually had any human accept her, save for the miko and the witch, and quite honestly would've been more surprised if he had, though the thought that he might was still there. The man had acted exactly as one of the 2 ways she thought he would, if he was indeed the kind of person she though he was, one who would be rather interested in others but not enough to really care unless it was something really big, or extremely annoyed, rude, and cold at the mention of someone understanding them or knowing what it was like to be in their situation. After all, she had acted like the latter when she had first arrived in Gensokyo, and had even tried to kill Remilia ojou-sama before she had hired her (seemed like a good idea at the time and Sakuya was scared), and had been like the former ever since that miko and black and white witch had come to the mansion and stopped her mistress from covering the land in red mist, and dragged her along with them on all their adventures in stopping incidents.

Still rather happy with herself, her eye's flashed a crimson red, and were filled with nothing but blood lust in that moment, all her thought's replaced by the idea of that it's gonna be so much fun to rip that kid to shreds with my knives. As quickly and suddenly as the blood lust and thoughts had arrived, they left just as fast, and her eye's were already fading back to their regular color. After the last tinge of red had faded away, Sakuya thoughts quickly reminded herself that she really needed to go pay a visit to Eintei and request more medicine for her eyes, and that that stupid moon rabbit's insanity-causing eyes had really brought back out her reaaaally inner thoughts. However, these were thoughts for another time, and she quickly brought herself back to reality.

When the announcement had been declared and all her knives gathered and her pocket-watch in hand, Sakuya pulled the knife out of the table and placed it back in her cuff, and decided to probably do something to fix that large crack in it she had made, because it was a shame to ruin such a nice table.

( like six really. if you count the people who posted on the first page. I hope once the prologue ends more people get active in it though. If not, nothing I can do about it. There will be an award for winning the RP though. )
