Deck Building Challenge #4 - Voting Round 4 - Fire Fist
Deadline of voting:
Hello members, The second round of sign ups is over, and we've received 7 lists! However, only 3 can move on to this phase, and so we had our judges decide in private.
Normally we'd put up to vote 3 deck lists, but this round was different, we had a tie between 2 lists and couldn't decide which one is better! so we're giving you the vote.
4th round information: HERE.

- not much to say it about it, choosed to go with 4 axis cuz I felt it's more consistent, so the build is a bit standard with some cards that are good this format ( like TKR-Oh/mind crush/fiendish chain) mixing the stun & aggressive aspects.

- I feel this is a pretty solid list. I have gone with 4 axis due to less reliance on special summons and emphasising more on stunning your opponent. Cards such as Shared Ride I have mained as they have favourable opportunities against Nekroz as well as Qliphort over running upstart goblin. The monster count is low but is compensated with duality, tenki, shared rides and a high trap count. The side deck is built to help counter the current meta. I wanted to test storm with this deck, possibly may main it as I think it could be a real suprise factor using dead face up fire formation cards and dead fiendish chains (hence why I am running fiendish chains and not breakthrough skills or other alternatives).

- ehhh.... Breakthrough not fiendish so less field jamming... Cairngorgon to save tenki than after that pretty standard extra and main I think... Do I even need to explain anything else? XD

- 4Axis Turbo Stun Deck.
This is my version of an explosive FireFist stun Deck. With Trap Stun and Vanity combo you stun your opponent and it allows you to safely Summon your Monsters and prepare your field without Vanity getting destroyed(the 3rd Trap Stun in the side if obviously for heavy Trap based Decks). Fossil Dyna is just awesome in these heavy spamy times of Yu-Gi-Mons, and with traps like Mirror Force and such will make Fossil Dyna very hard to kill. I added Utopia Ray that can be overlayed over Utopia, which allows Utopia the Lightning to use his effect twice. Crimson Blader is self explanatory and Circle of the Fire Kings makes Cardinal plays extremly easy and it avoids cards like Bottomless Trap Hole and such. Rhapsody in Berserk is just such an awesome card, allows you to banish key cards in your opponents grave and it can be an Atk boost wich could mean the game against Apoqliphort Towers. I think the other cards are self explanatory. If you have any questions regarding the deck, you know where to find me.

________________________________________________ A huge thanks to everyone who participated, even those who didn't advance to this stage. Please continue to do your best, as every deck submitted was wonderful. I'll announce the names and list after the voting is finished and everyone will be rewarded as previously mentioned.
Thanks for your time! |
